How does an afternoon with top home stylists sound? Inspiring? Insightful? Intriguing? That is exactly what I experienced at the Canberra Property Stylists event hosted by Impressions Property Styling.
As someone who doesn’t know the different between eclectic and mid-century modern, I am in awe of the people who spend their days making Canberra’s homes beautiful.
11 of Canberra’s top property styling companies spent the afternoon sharing coffee, champagne and a delicious (and stylish) grazing table. I listened intently to the creative minds behind Canberra’s property styling industry as they discussed the latest trends and styles entering the property styling and design fields, hoping to learn a thing or two. But this event was much more than business, drowning out the talk of design was an overwhelming atmosphere of friendship and encouragement.
Nicole Heins from Impressions property styling spoke about how the industry has changed over the 11 years she has been in business, and how important events like this are to the growing industry. This event provided an opportunity for these like-minded business women and men to share their experiences and expertise in a supportive environment.
This wonderful group of people are some of the esteemed property stylist of Canberra. Each one has travelled their own path to build a business and work in an industry we all love.
We know each other’s names, we know each other’s businesses, but yesterday we had the pleasure of actually meeting each other face to face.
It was an afternoon of connecting and meeting new people, catching up with old friends and establishing a community of support. It was also an afternoon of cheese, cake and bubblies…..
It was so much fun hosting the networking event for the Canberra stylists at our warehouse. Thank you to everyone who joined us, we can’t wait to do it again.
